He allegedly made sexual remarks about her in front of coworkers and “excruciatingly” tried to kiss her when photographers were around.

Bough’s employment with the company ended in 1988 when he was fired following a controversy, and he passed away in 2020.

She also said that one of the guests on the show, Jimmy Savile, forced her to kiss live on television.

He wouldn’t answer her questions otherwise because she believed it was her responsibility to “create a nice atmosphere” as part of her job.

Selina Scott Personal Life

Selina Scott was born in Scarborough, North Riding of Yorkshire, England, on May 13, 1951.

Her mother, Betty Scott, was a journalist, and her father, Charles Scott, was a police officer.

She has four siblings, her being the eldest. Selina grew up with a group of lads and always stood her ground despite having just one brother.

She graduated from Laurence Jackson School in Guisborough, North Yorkshire, where she took the position of Head Girl.

At the University of East Anglia, she studied both English and American studies.

Scott had his journalism training at “The Sunday Post” newspaper in Dundee, Scotland.

After that, she worked as the press officer for the “Highlands and Islands” Tourist Board on the Isle of Bute.

Furthermore, she made her broadcast debut on “North Tonight,” the weeknight newscast for the local ITV channel Grampian Television in Aberdeen.
