Saweetie has also shared that her mother’s side of the family has passed down many traditions and memories, mainly through her grandmother.

Her mother, Trinidad, was a model in the 90s. Saweetie’s nickname was given to her by her grandmother, who thought she was a “sweetie.”

She grew up in Sacramento and attended Monterey Trail High School before earning a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern California.

Saweetie’s family is full of talented individuals – her grandfather Willie Harper was a football player for the San Francisco 49ers, and her uncle is none other than MC Hammer.

She also has two famous cousins: Gabrielle Union, a well-known Actor, and Zaytoven, a successful record producer. Saweetie’s family has always supported her dreams and has played a significant role in shaping who she is today.
