Chance The Rapper Cancer news has been trending on social media as the Rapper has committed to donating $1 million to health services in Chicago.

Chancelor Johnathan Bennett, better known as Chance the Rapper, is a rapper, singer-songwriter, and record producer from the United States.

Born and raised in Chicago, Bennett released his debut mixtape, 10 Day, in 2012. After releasing his second mixtape, Acid Rap, in 2013, he began to attract widespread attention.

He is a member of the Chicago group Savemoney and the vocalist for the band the Social Experiment, who released the album Surf in 2015, led by trumpeter Nico Segal. He is also interested in social activity in his Chicago neighborhood.

He began rapping in the sixth school after his cousin let him use his studio. Bennett founded the hip-hop group Instrumentality with a buddy during his freshman year at Jones College Prep High School.

Chance the Rapper does not appear to have Cancer. In fact, according to the most current health report from 2019, he had pledged to contribute $1 million to health services in Chicago through his nonprofit Company SocialWork.

Chance The Rapper has publicly lamented the loss of his aunt. Kimberly Bennett, the Chicago rapper’s aunt, died on Sunday (May 7) following a battle with aggressive breast Cancer.

“My Aunty Kim succumbed to breast Cancer early Sunday morning. “She was a fighter who wanted me to share this,” Chance said on Twitter, referring to a video of his aunt telling her tale.

The 28-year-old star sat down with hosts Taraji P. Henson and Tracie Jade on an upcoming episode of Peace of Mind with Taraji titled “Why Black Men Don’t Cry with Chance the Rapper” and opened up about his mental health, breaking generational curses, and the pressure that Black men face in today’s society. Shared chance:

“Oh, that wasn’t anything we knew of, you know? There are undoubtedly a lot of cases where people we knew were written off as crazy or tweaking, but they were truly suffering from a persistent mental health issue. I feel like we’re all starting to realize as a society, ‘Oh, okay, wellness is more than just our physical health.'”

“I battle with PTSD, I witnessed my friend slain in front of me when I was 19, and I’ve seen others I didn’t know be killed too. You get numb to it as if someone else died only last week, yet it lingers with you, you know what I mean? And you don’t notice it till later — like I have long-term consequences.

Chance the Rapper was born Chancelor Jonathan Bennett to Ken Williams Bennett on April 16, 1993, in West Chatham, Chicago, USA. 

His Father, a longtime adviser to former Chicago mayor and senator Richard M. Daley, is now the deputy chief of staff to Mayor Rahm Emanuel. Bennett has a younger brother, Taylor Bennett, who is also a rapper.

Bennett graduated from ‘Jones College Prep High School.’ He and a friend founded the hip-hop duo ‘Instrumentality’ during his first year. His first performances occurred in the ‘YOUmedia Lyricist Loft’ in the ‘Harold Washington Library.’

Despite being mocked by his professors, Bennett’s love of music did not fade. Instead, he went all-in on his dream, releasing his debut mixtape, ’10 Day,’ in early 2011. He closed the year with a song called ‘Windows.’

Bennett’s mixtape was released in April 2012 to rave reviews. The mixtape was both financially and critically successful. It has been downloaded over 500,000 times on ‘Datpiff’ since its debut. The mixtape was featured in the ‘Cheap Tunes’ column of Forbes magazine.

After collaborating with American rapper Childish Gambino on the latter’s ‘Royalty,’ Bennett released his second mixtape, ‘Acid Rap,’ in April 2013.
