The world is saddened by the news of Lisa Loring (the original Wednesday Addams) passing away at 64. 

Lisa Loring, aka Lisa Ann DeCinces, was an American actress and television star. 

She was renowned for portraying Wednesday Addams when she was six years old in the sitcom “The Addams Family.”

The show ran from 1964 to 1966 and was critically acclaimed. 

Beginning her career as a child artist, she made a huge contribution to the world of cinema. In addition to acting, Lisa was also a makeup artist and screenwriter.

The famous actress Lisa Loring is no more with us. 

On January 28, Laurie Jacobson, a close friend of Lisa, posted on Facebook to inform the heartbreaking news.

She wrote, “It is with great sadness that I report the death of our friend, Lisa Loring.”

She had a severe stroke four days ago (around 17 January) due to smoking and high blood pressure. In fact, she had been kept on life support for three days.

Lisa was laid to rest after her family took the tough decision to remove her from life support. 

She is permanently engraved as Wednesday Addams in our hearts and was a big part of pop culture.

The actress has left a significant mark on the entertainment industry, and millions of people will miss her.

Loring had seen many highs and lows in life. She was born on February 16, 1958, in Kwajalein, Marshall Islands.

Both of her parents were active duty members of the US Navy, but they divorced shortly after her birth.

As a result, Lisa was raised in Hawaii before relocating to Los Angeles with her mother.

She had married four times in her life, the first at the age of 15. In 1973, Loring wed her childhood love, Farrell Foumberg, and at age 16, they welcomed a daughter.

One year later, the marriage was over. In 1981, the late actress wedded actor Doug Stevenson, who was also an actor.

Although they had a daughter, the couple’s relationship dissolved in 1983.

During her marriage to Butler, she developed a heroin addiction, but later on, she went to a rehab center and finished her treatment.

Loring wed adult film actor Jerry Butler in 1987; the pair separated in 1992.

She married Graham Rich for the fourth and final time. In 2008, they separated and divorced in 2014.

Midway through the 1990s, she gave a few interviews, but she had semi-retired from acting.

In the middle of the 2010s, Loring picked up acting again, doing two different horror movies.
