Eduardo Valdes, Anthony Michel, and Vincent Falcone have been charged with committing a riot, which is considered a class B felony that carries a potential prison sentence of seven years.

Ten high school students in Nashua, New Hampshire, are currently facing charges of rioting in connection with an incident following a basketball game.

Among the ten, three are adults: 19-year-old Anthony Michel, 18-year-old Vincent Falcone, and 18-year-old Eduardo Valdes. Rioting is considered a class B felony and carries a maximum sentence of seven years in prison, not including fines.

Nashua Police received a report of a disturbance at a high school basketball game between Nashua High School North and Manchester Memorial High School on February 7.

Following the game, a fight broke out outside involving students and players from both schools, according to authorities.

On February 7, a fight broke out involving students and players from Nashua High School North and Manchester Memorial High School after a basketball game.

Police officers were dispatched to the scene following a report of a disturbance.

Subsequently, Police arrested seven minors, as well as Anthony Michel, Vincent Falcone, and Eduardo Valdes, on charges of rioting.

According to Lieutenant Peter Urban of the Police department’s special investigations division, the altercation involved individuals from both schools.

Now, the juvenile cases related to the incident will be heard in Nashua District Court.

Over the past month, the school has been working with authorities to identify those involved, according to Lisa Gingras, Nashua’s athletic director.

She emphasized the significance of athletics to the students, stating that it is crucial to their education and is a source of motivation for many. 

On the other hand, she condemned the actions of those who disrupted the peaceful environment of the game and deprived students of this opportunity.

The Manchester school district released a statement to News 9, reiterating its commitment to ensuring the safety of all attendees at sporting events, including students, staff, and spectators.

According to Patch, Anthony Michel was granted bail on March 6, whereas Vincent Falcone and Eduardo Valdes were released on bail the following day.

All three individuals will appear in Hillsborough County Superior Court South for arraignment on April 6.

Lieutenant Peter Urban emphasized that the Police department and SAU 42 have a strict zero-tolerance policy towards violent or hazardous behavior on school property.

He further reiterated that the safety of students is of utmost importance during school hours and extracurricular activities. Any student who engages in such misconduct will face the consequences of their actions.

A video of the aggressive altercation has been circulating for the past month on social media platforms.

According to Nashua Alderman Alex Comeau, it is difficult to determine who instigated the violence, but several students can be seen throwing punches.

The video depicts a student falling to the ground and being subjected to physical attacks by multiple assailants, which is alarming.

The Nashua Police Special Investigations Division’s school resource officers took charge of the investigation.

They collaborated closely with the school district’s staff and administration to determine the identity of all students involved in the incident.
