Moreover, she opened up about her life struggles due to drug and alcohol abuse and said that her cancer-stricken mother was always there for her. Chloe wrote: 

Many say we all have our cancers. Mine was my battle with addiction. I will keep myself sober for the rest of my life. That is my fight and it won’t be easy. We all have our cancers.

I’m not trying to make my mum’s struggle sound small, I’m just saying that it’s just easier to deal when you go, like – Oh yeah! everyone has their own cancer to battle. 

Chloe’s mother, Olivia, was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992. She underwent reconstruction and a partial mastectomy.

During an interview with Woman’s Day magazine, Chloe revealed that her mum pulled her back from death. The column wrote: 

My mum and I both struggled – me with anorexia, addiction, and anxiety, and Mum with cancer and feeling helpless during my darkest hours.

I hated after my mum brodcasted my life on TV. Now, I understand why it was more hard for my mum, because she felt powerless and didn’t know what to do.

In addition, Chloe refers to her late mother as an angel on earth, and she touched everyone. She revealed her mother was a life-giver guru and how she helped her see different aspects of life.

My childhood fame (as she is a celebrity kid) messed me up. It was hard spending a lot of time alone as my Mum had to travel a lot when I was kid.
