On August 15, 1995, Keith Farrell Cozart was conceived. He is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and recording producer better known by his stage name Chief Keef.

South Side Chicago high school students in the early 2010s were the first to take an interest in his music when he was still a teenager.

Chief Keef Mugshot: Why Was He Arrested?

After being discovered by Police in Miami Beach in 2017 with a “cup filled with a syrupy beverage known as sizzurp, which is also known as “lean” or “purple drank,” “Chief Keep was arrested and charged with a DUI.”

In addition, the report noted that Keef’s eyes were “bloodshot, watery, and droopy” and that he had performed poorly on a sobriety test.

The stop that led to the arrest of two more people also involved green leafy substances. The renowned Chicago rapper was arrested only days after Ramsay claimed he was the target of an armed House invasion.

A representative for the LAPD confirmed that two people had been detained on suspicion of robbery and home invasion when asked to check Keef’s position. Still, he was unable to provide their identities.

Keith Cozart, also known as Chief Keef, entered a no-contest plea to possessing a prohibited drug on Friday. Although the appeal is not an admission of guilt, it is treated as such for the sentence.

Chief Keef was given a suspended imposition of sentence by Judge Jon Sogn, which means that if he maintains a spotless record for a year, no conviction would be recorded.

Due to a lack of evidence, the case dropped, but he was arrested again in June for drug possession. He would enter a no-contest plea in 2019 and receive a suspended sentence. Additional accusations, including marijuana possession, were dropped.

The downfall of chief Keef

Soon after releasing his debut record, Cozart began to acquire the craft of music production. He experimented on himself while telling his audience he was preparing for Bang 3 and Back From The Dead 2.

Bang 3 would never happen, and the road to BFTD 2 would be extended because Interscope Records terminated Cozart’s contract due to a stipulation that allowed them to do so if his debut album didn’t sell at least 250,000 copies by March 2014.

The fact that he produced 16 out of the 20 tracks on the Gucci Mane collaboration mixtape earned him high accolades from critics even though his sales didn’t increase as he had hoped.

Cozart took a temporary hiatus from performing in 2016 after declaring it on Twitter, but he returned in March 2017 and dropped the 17-track mixtape “Two Zero One Seven.”

He continues to make music, with the biggest hit being “Chrome Heart Tags” by Lil Uzi Vert on the album Eternal Atake.
