Cassie died of lung Cancer, which was known to be her cause of death. Since 2010, she has also been known as Betty Ann “Aunt Bam” Murphy in the Madea franchise. She has appeared in several other Tyler Perry-directed productions.
However, there is an obituary for Cassie Lynn Davis, who died from metastatic breast cancer on September 17, 2022, at the age of 32.
Cassi was born in Holly Springs, Mississippi, on July 31, 1964, and attended Spelman College in Atlanta to study music.
She dropped out of college after only one credit because she was forbidden from performing religious music at her senior recital.
Davis returned to Spelman in 2008 to complete her degree, receiving her diploma in November of that year.
She has stated that her vibrant, newly discovered Christian faith is the primary factor in her professional success.
Davis made his acting debut as a supporting Actor in Spike Lee’s comedy film School Daze in 1988. She appeared as a guest on Living Single, Married.

Cassi is currently married to Kerry Patton, her high school sweetheart. The pair first connected in the third grade, but the 54-year-old claims she had been in love with her man since sixth grade.
Cassi and Patton’s paths diverged after high school, but Cassi never forgot about him.
In an interview with media Executive Jessica Garrett Mookins on her podcast “The Culture,” she admitted that none of her previous dates were on Patton’s level.
The couple began dating in 2007 and becoming indissociable. But it took them ten years to make a decision.
The deal and they married on January 11, 2017. Patton continues to support his wife through good and bad times.
Cassi discussed her current battle with Bell’s palsy, which affects her facial muscles and causes one side of her face to sag, in the same podcast recorded2021 February.
