Was French Montana Shot In The Head In 2003?

According to HipHopDX, before becoming a successful rapper in and outside of the United States, unknown perpetrators shot French Montana in the head between 2003 and 2004.

French visited a studio on 133rd Street and Third Avenue in The Bronx when the incident occurred.

Two shooters approached him, sparking a fight that resulted in the rapper receiving a non-fatal bullet to the head. The shooter was killed by “friendly Fire” from the second attacker.

In 2008, he told VladTV, “I suppose one of the n-gas I was with had the drop on me, attempted to set me up.” “N-gas already when I walked downstairs — but I ain’t running.” We had it on us, and they had it on them. But they started to work right away.”

“He attempted to hit me up, we struggled, and in the midst of it all, I got shot in the head,” he added. The bullet entered and exited the body. I visited Lincoln Hospital. The n-gga who shot me in the back of the skull remained.”

French was charged with murder in connection with the event but was acquitted. “The reasoning was that there was no proof, nothing,” he stated.

“His man who was firing shot him by accident.” One shot me, and his man shot him while attempting to shoot me.”

French Montana is currently speaking out against rappers being targeted by gun violence.

After the shooting of fellow Bronx native Lil TJay during an attempted armed robbery in New Jersey earlier this week, the Coke Boys Leader told TMZ that rappers had “the roughest job.”
