Why did the social media ban Andrew Tate?
As part of an ongoing investigation to remove information contravening Company regulations, TikTok has revealed that it has permanently banned an account belonging to Tate.
“In TikTok, misogyny is an evil worldview that is not accepted. The fact that other sites are also taking action against this person is welcome; we have been taking down objectionable videos and accounts for weeks, a spokeswoman informed The Independent.
Nonetheless, fan sites and other users are the ones that spread the majority of Tate’s popular videos on the network.
According to TikTok, it is employing technology to altogether remove duplicates of Tate’s video content from the website, and it is also assessing new content as it is shared.
Tate has also been blocked from Instagram and Facebook. Tate was banned from both platforms, according to a spokeswoman for Meta, who cited the Company’s rules on “Dangerous People and Organizations” in support of the ban.

He claimed he was in a YouTuber interview with another. “I’m a realist, and when you’re a realist, you’re sexist, so you’re a misogynist, he continued. You cannot be grounded in reality and not be sexist.”

Tate’s comments that women should “carry responsibility” for being sexually attacked led to his Twitter ban. He was later given a second chance.
