It seems like Wimbledon this year is full of surprises as new and emerging talents have been raining the courts with records. It was the same case for Ugo Humbert, a 21-year-old French Tennis player. The French player was up against 19th ranked Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime on Court 1.
Just by looking at the statistics, many would have assumed the loss on his side. Still, for Ugo, the winner takes it all situation as the young player had already been victorious over high-profile player like Gael Monfils. The young Frenchman showed the determination to win by playing fiercely and won an easy set of 4-5, 5-7, 3-6.
This is the first time in his Grand Slam career to advance in the fourth round, which will definitely reflect his ranking on the newest standings. After this, Ugo is expected to face another tennis giant Novak Djokovic, ranked 16 in the ATP.
Ugo Humbert: Early Life and Education
Ugo Humbert was born on June 26, 1998, in Metz, France. He is the son of French parents, father Eric Humbert and mother, Anne. Also, the Frenchman has a sister named Lea. Apart from this, no additional information has been given about his family.

Talking about his Tennis career, Ugo had an interest in playing tennis since the age of 5. He used to watch his father play and wanted to learn. Eventually, at the age of 12, Ugo left his home and moved to Poitiers to train with the French Tennis Federation at the National Training Centre.
