Thomas Teye Partey is a Ghanaian professional footballer who now plays for Arsenal in the Premier League and for the Ghana national team.

The Partey rape refers to charges of rape leveled against Arsenal footballer Thomas Partey in 2022. On July 20, 2022, a young lady claiming to be Partey’s ex-girlfriend accused him of raping her on their trip to the Spanish island of Ibiza.
The UK Metropolitan Police The Premier League star, who could not be named then, was seized by Police on July 4, 2022, at a residence in Barnet, north London, according to the UK news agency.
The 29-year-old was eventually identified as Partey, freed and re-arrested after two women made new rape claims.

The lady, who goes under the Twitter handle DEFFONOTCHAUR, tweeted:
“Thomas Partey is a CONVINCED rapist.” No woman can accuse you of rape, and your reaction is??? He raped me, left me unconscious in bed, went out to Party in Ibiza, returned, laughed in my face, and told me I didn’t have the right to say no to him. I never once admitted to lying.”
The anonymous lady stated that she and Partey were dating before the event. She allegedly tried to break up with him before he persuaded her that he would change.
We were dating, and he invited me to accompany him on his birthday trip after I had tried to break things up with him a few weeks before. He persuaded me that he had booked the vacation for us and that he would alter his mind. ‘I fell for it,’ she said.

DEFFONOTCHAUR is accused of starting the Partey rape claims. Nonetheless, two ladies were engaged in the case.
One case reportedly occurred in April 2021, while the other allegedly occurred in June 2021. While one of the accusers is still unknown, Partey’s ex-girlfriend, Sara Bella, was the second lady who accused him of rape.

According to reports, he switched from Christianity to Islam and changed his name to Yakubu due to his Moroccan lover.
