With a career total of 1,138 points, Moren was named both the Indiana All-Star and Columbus Republic Female Athlete of the Year in 1987, following a highly successful high school basketball career.

In December 2017, Moren became a part of the first group to be inducted into the Seymour High School Athletics Hall of Fame.

With Moren on the team, the Purdue Boilermakers had a successful 1988-89 season, finishing 3rd in the Big Ten with a record of 24-6 and making it to the second round of the NCAA tournament.

The following year, in her sophomore season, Teri helped the Purdue Boilermakers reach the NCAA Sweet Sixteen after finishing 3rd in the Big Ten with a record of 23-7.

In the 1990-91 season, she was a prominent member of the Purdue Boilermakers team that finished 1st in the Big Ten with a record of 26-3 and reached the second round of the NCAA tournament.

Moren’s final season with the Purdue women’s basketball team was in the 1991-92 season, where they placed 2nd in the Big Ten with a 23-7 record and made it to the NCAA Sweet Sixteen.

Purdue recognized her contributions to the women’s basketball program by naming her to the All-Decade team and presenting her with the Ruth Jones and Red Mackey Awards.
