Who Is Ryan Rovito? California Father Arrested And Charged With Possessing Child Sex Abuse
A little more than a week after his wife is believed to have discovered the concealed camera and turned it over to Police, along with a linked hard drive, Ryan Rovito, 34, of Redding, located roughly 160 miles north of Sacramento, was arrested on suspicion of violating a warrant on Thursday.
Upon performing a forensic study on the devices, authorities claimed to have found the child sex abuse photographs and other films from the camera, according to Redding Police.
Children and adults were seen using the restroom in the videos, seemingly unaware that they were being videotaped, according to the Police.

After Rovito’s wife discovered the camera on March 8, he is alleged to have “admitted knowledge of the camera but vowed to remove and discard it,” Police said.
Rovito’s wife then handed the electronics over to Police, “fearing Mr. Rovito had nefariously recorded their young children using the bathroom,” Police said.
After they performed the analysis that turned up hundreds of child sex abuse photos and multiple videos, detectives got an arrest warrant. They took Rovito into custody Thursday during a traffic stop near Buenaventura Boulevard and Placer Street in Redding.
Forensic analysis of the hard drive allegedly found over 900 images of child sexual abuse material and video footage of children and adults using the bathroom.

His trial was planned for April 10. However, it is unknown whether it occurred or a verdict was obtained.
