Ron Hall’s son, Carson Hall, is from his previous marriage to his ex-wife, Debbie Hall.

She was a big part of his success and was a dear life partner till the end. 

In 1999, Debbie received a cancer diagnosis.

So, his son was given control of the business so Ron could take care of her at home. Sadly, she passed away in 2000.

Denver Moore was born in a remote area of Louisiana in January 1937. 

 On the streets of Fort Worth, Texas, he was a homeless man. 

Denver met Debie in 1998, and that encounter changed his life irrevocably.

He was connected with Ron, who later became a good friend and co-author of the novel “Same Kind of Different as Me.”

Moore evolved to become an artist, selling hundreds of his original works to followers all over the world.

He also became a vocalist and self-taught pianist who delighted crowds of people.

Convention halls and auditoriums were packed with people who came to hear him share his inspirational tale of redemption and hope while raising millions for homeless initiatives.

As a result of his efforts on behalf of the Union Gospel Mission, he was named Fort Worth, Texas Philanthropist of the Year in 2006.

Sadly, he passed away in 2012.
