Quivi Fowler is the brother of a young and talented Australian soccer player Mary Fowler. He is also a highly talented soccer player.

Mary Fowler was born on February 14, 2003, in Cairns, Queensland. She is known for her exceptional skills as a forward and midfielder for the Women’s Super League club Manchester City and the Australian national team. 

Fowler began her professional career with Adelaide United alongside her sister Ciara. Their debut was in the first match of the 2019-20 season, making it the first time the sisters played professionally together.

Mary Fowler’s older brother, Quivi Fowler (Caoimhin), is also a professional football player. Born in the Republic of Ireland, he grew up playing football alongside Mary and their other siblings in the natural spaces around Trinity Beach. 

Like Mary, Quivi was encouraged by their parents to focus on outdoor activities rather than technology, and he developed a love for the game from a young age.

Caoimhin’s talent was noticed early on, and he was offered a spot in the academy of English club Nottingham Forest at 14. 

He spent several years there before playing for other clubs in England and Ireland. His current club is Longford Town FC, a League of Ireland Premier Division team.

Meet Mary Fowler Sister Ciara Fowler

Ciara Fowler is an Australian footballer who plays for Adelaide United in the W-League. She was born on July 16, 2001, and began playing football at a young age, following in her siblings’ footsteps. 

Ciara’s Father is Irish, and her mother is from Papua New Guinea. She grew up in a family of talented soccer players, with her brother, Caoimhin, and sister, Mary, also playing the sport.

Ciara debuted for Adelaide United in November 2019 during a match against Western Sydney Wanderers. She has since become a squad regular and earned call-ups to the Irish and Australian youth national teams.

In 2019, she was named to the Australian under-20 national team for the AFC U-19 Women’s Championship in Thailand. Like her sister, Mary, Ciara also plays as a striker.

Mary began her professional career alongside Ciara when they were both signed for Adelaide United in the same year.

They even made their respective debuts for the squad during the exact match. Mary debuted on November 14, 2019, the same day as her sister. Together, they have made a name for themselves in the football world and continue to impress with their skills on the field.

Mary Fowler comes from a close-knit family of six, known collectively as “The Fowler Five.” Her parents, Kevin and Nido, are of Irish and Papua New Guinean heritage, respectively. 

Kevin, a former footballer, was born and raised in Ireland before moving to Australia as a young adult. At the same time, Nido grew up in Papua New Guinea before immigrating to Australia. 

Mary has two older siblings, Quivi (also known as ‘Caoimhin’) and Ciara, and two younger siblings, Kyah and Jaiyah. Caoimhin and Ciara are also talented footballers, with Caoimhin playing for Irish youth teams and Ciara playing for the Australian under-20 team.

Kyah is also a footballer and has represented Queensland at the national futsal championships. The Fowlers are a sporting family, and growing up, the children spent much of their time outdoors, honing their athletic abilities on the grassy hills and white sands of Trinity Beach, near Cairns. 

The family encouraged their children to switch off technology and spend more time in nature, which helped foster Mary’s deep connection with the natural world. Kevin and Nido have been instrumental in supporting their children’s sporting aspirations.

The family has also acted as a protective barrier for Mary, shielding her from the pressures and scrutiny of being a high-profile athlete.
