Jake Norman Death has spread quickly on social media, with many people sharing their memories of him and expressing condolences to his family.
Jake Norman, a Portsmouth, Hampshire native, was killed in an automobile accident. The event occurred on the M275 near Portsmouth on April 24, 2023. Jake was driving when his automobile collided with a concrete barrier. At the time of the collision, he was the only one in the automobile.
He attended Norman schools, beginning with Middle Earth Child Development Center and McKinley Elementary School and progressing to Norman High School and Norman North High School, where he graduated in 2010.

He attended classes at the Universities of Central Oklahoma (UCO) and Oklahoma. He worked at Academy Sports and Outdoors in Norman and briefly as a newspaper reporter in Weatherford, Oklahoma.

Jake Norman, a Portsmouth, Hampshire native, was tragically killed in a car accident near his birthplace, leaving his friends and family in mourning.
An accident happened on the evening of April 20, 2023, on the A27 near Portsmouth.
According to sources, Jake was driving his automobile when he collided with a lorry. The emergency services were contacted, but Jake could not be rescued despite their best attempts.

Jake was sincere, grounded, and intelligent. He saw right through pretension and said things as he saw them. Despite his intimidating physical presence, he possessed the softest of hearts.
Many of Jake’s friends regarded him as their best friend, the one they could turn to in times of crisis. He had his problems, so he could always sympathize and empathize without passing judgment.
He was a guardian and guide to his younger siblings, going on trips and having long chats with his brother Alec and watching movies with his sister Laura, who would always patiently answer her numerous questions.
He had close relationships with all of his grandparents, aunts, and uncles, as well as his stepfather Joe.
His Father, Henry McDonald, an English professor, and mother, Alice Stanton, an editor, instilled in him a love of reading. He found reading as a child through the Harry Potter series, which he reread several times.

A memorial ceremony to honor Jake’s life will be conducted in Norman, Oklahoma, at a later date to be announced.
Jake’s family has also issued a statement expressing their grief at his death. He was characterized as a kind son and brother who would be greatly missed by everybody who knew him.
Friends may send memorial contributions to the Friends for People Dog Training Program in Lexington, Oklahoma. Friends for People provides a chance for Oklahoma convicts to train rescue dogs, with many of the canines becoming service dogs or well-trained family pets.

Jake was predeceased by his grandparents, Angus and Gail (“Baba”) McDonald, grandma Katherine M. Stanton, and step-grandparents, Robert Freeman and Frances Colleen Mashburn.
His mother, Alice Stanton, and Father, William Henry McDonald, survive him, as do his stepfather, Joseph Mashburn; his brother, Alec McDonald; his sister, Laura Mashburn.
