Philippe was a happy kid in a happy family. But, he faced some discrimination for being a Jew when he enrolled in a private Catholic School when he was 8.

The first priest who taught him in the class was anti-Semitic. When the priest began the class with “Hall Mary and our Father,” everybody was standing, but he stopped him from standing.

All student’s eyes were on him when he was the only person sitting in the class. Furthermore, after 2 or 3 weeks of the class, a little boy approached him and said Dirty Jew.

Philippe was shocked and did not know why that little boy said such words.

So, he decided that to be loved and get respect; he had to do everything great; he had to become the Football team captain and come first to overcome descrimination.

However, for being Jewish, Philippe had to face descrimination in his childhood.

Is Philippe Lellouche Christian?

As mentioned earlier, Philippe Lellouche is not Christian. He is Jewish and is proud of his religion and origin.

As a Jewish person, Philippe Lellouche has faced much descrimination and hatred from people.

The book titled, “J’en ai marre d’être juif, j’ai envie d’arrêter,” i.e, I’m tired of being Jewish, I want to stop.

It was published in 2008 and is like funny stories, satires, senses of humor, and pamphlets.

But the main thing is it is about a boy who has difficulty accepting a new tradition and suffers hatred for being Jewish.

Furthermore, the book discussed various titles like Jews and family, Jews and paranoia, Jews and anti-Semites, and Jews and communications.

Philippe Lellouche wrote in a fun way, but it is about the pressure and the difference he experienced being a Jew in his life.
