She received the Eugenia Sheppard Media Award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America in 2011, and fashion designer Diane Von Furstenberg referred to her as “a tremendous force.”
Michael Kors, a fellow designer, gave Hilary the medal and described her as “unsinkable.”
