Naked & Afraid survivalist Sarah Danser has recently passed away following an accident.
Sarah Danser, 34, was a relentless explorer from Castle Rock, Colorado, who lived in Hawaii for about twelve years.

Danser started scuba diving when she was 16 year-old. After completing her certification dives with Island Divers Hawaii in Oahu, she returned to the island and eventually worked with PADI Divemaster.
Moreover, she worked as a divemaster for Honolulu Scuba Company.
As a PADI Divemaster and Survivalist based in Honolulu, Sarah was ready for the 21-day survival challenge in the Exuma Cays for Discovery Channel’s Naked & Afraid: Lost at Sea.
She also completed the 40-day challenge on “Naked & Afraid XL: ALL-STARS.” Earlier, she lived part-time on a boat at Kewalo Basin and was known for her global adventures.
Sarah Danser Was Caught In An Accident At Diamond Head Road
Sarah Danser from Naked & Afraid was caught in an accident on Sunday, October 20, 2024.
According to Honolulu police, the crash involved two vehicles in Kahala on Diamond Head Road east of Poka Street.

Danser was a passenger in a car and wearing a seat belt.
The 59-year-old male driver, Sarah’s friend, was traveling eastbound when the vehicle lost control and collided with a parked car.
Soon, Danser was taken to hospital as she was in a critical condition. The driver without a seatbelt was also in severe condition.
Two other people who were inside the parked car also got injured. One woman was in serious condition, whereas another man refused treatment.
Police stated that speed was the main factor in the accident, not chemical substances or alcohol.
On Tuesday, Sarah’s father and brother arrived at the hospital. Her father, Dan Danser, said,
“I actually saw how much of a difference she made in the lives of others,” “I think she saved my life once, diving in Indonesia,”
Her brother Jake Danser said,
“Magical is the way to describe her. Sarah had this positive energy about her that just really filled the environment that she was in,”

According to her family members, Sarah survived breast cancer twice in her life. Her friend and fellow diver, Tim Mason, also stated that the entire community is heartbroken.
He also remembered large watch parties celebrated with Sarah. Tim Mason added,
“She was smart. She went under the water. She found food, slugs and snails and stuff like that,” “She knew what to do to survive and she did great,”
Currently, the entire divers’ community and her family are mourning the tragic loss of Sarah Denser.
The company Island Divers Hawaii in Hawaii Kai is working on an ocean memorial with Danser’s family.

I heard the heavy news of Sarah Danser passing today. Sarah was of the most adventurous souls I’ve ever met. She wasn’t only a fierce survivalist on Naked and Afraid, but a Breast Cancer survivor who kept an inspiring and positive attitude through her treatment. She loved the ocean, nature and exploring – I always considered her a “modern day pirate”. She was one of those people that saw the world through the eyes of a child, in awe of the things that many of us take for granted. Rest easy Sarah, I know youre out there exploring somewhere
