A Carson City, Nevada resident, Alex Schumacher, tragically passed away on Saturday.
According to Alex’s Facebook handle, he was a programmer at KZUM-FM (Lincoln) and a bartender at Yia Yia’s Pizza and Beer.

An account executive at Tahoe Knight Monsters, Alex Schumacher, died in Renown Regional Medical Center on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 33.
According to his family, Alex suffered a severe asthma attack on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, that led to him going into cardiac arrest before he was revived at the hospital in Reno.
Owner and CEO of K-Way’s Handyman Services, Kyle Way, poured a small tribute to Alex through his official Facebook handle by stating,
Some of you may not know this about Alex, but he was an amazing vocalist and I was so lucky to be his friend while we traveled and sang all over the map for the Lincoln Boys Choir. He really made the experience so much more amazing by being the genuinely kind and spirited person that he was. It breaks my heart to know he is no longer with us on this earth. Thank you Mrs. Schumacher for sending me this picture that represents one of many special moments I shared with your Son. And most of all Thank you for being such a wonderful mother that is responsible for raising one of the most beautiful people I have ever met. God bless you R.I.P
Lead guitarist for BrokenSkulls, Jericho Gutierrez, also poured a small tribute to Alex. He wrote,
Alex Schumacher, we’ve been running the same circles for years and you’ve always been one of the most chill and down to earth dudes I know. Rest easy duderino, until we meet again.
Chelsie West, an animal caretaker at Capital Humane Society, also mourned Alex’s loss and paid tribute through her Facebook handle. She wrote,
I am so shocked by this news, my heart is feeling awfully heavy today. Alex Schumacher you truly were a light in this world. That smile could fill a room. I am so very grateful to have known you and to be cared for by you. May your journey to whatever is next be a beautiful one. Love for you always
Other close ones and relatives have also poured their heartfelt condolence to Alex’s family to stay strong in this heartbreaking moment.
Alex will always be remembered for his contributions to the Lincoln Boys Choir and Tahoe Knight Monsters.

Nevada Resident Alex Schumacher Leaves His Family Behind
Alex Schumacher, 33, was born in 1991 in Carson City, Nebraska, to Julie Olson Schumacher and his father, whose identity has not been revealed.
His parents married on July 27, 1985. According to Julie’s Facebook handle, she studied Higher Ed Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Recently, Julie took to her social media handle to mourn the loss of her son, Alex, and poured a small tribute by stating,
“Grief is the price we pay for love.” This is what we are currently living. There isn’t a good platform for delivering horrible news, but some of you may not know. In the midst of the blizzard last Wednesday we received a call that Alex had suffered a severe asthma attack while taking his friends to the airport. This led to him going into cardiac arrest before he was revived at the hospital in Reno. We held hope in our hearts that he would recover, but after final testing he passed away at 3:06 Reno time on Saturday.”
Alex is also survived by his sister, Amanda Stemen Schumacher, a starship ranger at Galatic League of Extraterrestrial Exploration Starship anger Corp.
Amanda married Travis Stemen on October 1, 2022, and they have a daughter named Kristen Fowble.
Recently, Amanda also mourned the loss of her brother, Alex, and poured a small tribute by stating,
My mom said all the things I can’t say right now. Alex, I love you so so much. My heart is broken right now. I hope you’re livin it up and playing with Bella right now.
