Kevin Balot is a well-known transgender woman and campaigner from the Philippines who has earned prominence for her advocacy efforts and media exposure. She has spoken up about her transgender experiences and the bigotry and violence that many members of the trans community encounter.

Ms. Balot competed in the Miss International Queen 2012 pageant in Thailand, and her friends, coworkers, and family, particularly her Father, were highly supportive. When the judges declared that she was the reigning queen of the pageant, all her relatives, friends, and family were overjoyed.

Her inspiration came from her family, friends, relatives, and beauty pageant idol, Miriam Quiambao, who fought hard and finished as first runner-up during Miss Universe 1999.

Miss International Queen is a yearly beauty competition shown live on Thai television. It is regarded as the Miss Universe of transgender people or transsexuals and is organized by the Tiffany Show and Piton Communications.

The pageant’s goal is to give transgender/transsexual people a chance to be more accepted in today’s world, to raise human rights awareness among international communities, and to foster friendship and exchange ideas among international lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender/transsexual communities.

Who Are Kevin Balot Parents? Early Life Explored

Kevin Roxas Balot was born in Matatalaib, Tarlac, Philippines in 1991. The first Filipina transgender person to win and be awarded Miss International Queen 2012 in Pattaya, Thailand. A BS Nursing graduate who enjoys competing in beauty pageants all around the Philippines.

Kevin is the only guy among the siblings, and her Father does not anticipate her becoming a lady either. Her Father’s dream of becoming an engineer one day became a beautiful transgender ambassadress.

That began after she completed her education in high school and became self-sufficient. So she worked hard and entered several beauty gay pageants, earning a lot of money until she completed her nursing studies. Ms. Balot was truly lucky because of her beauty and glam, making her personality stand out.

Then in 2012, she was one of 20 attractive competitors in Miss International Queen 2012. She could be the face you never forget because of what Mr. Elvis Presley sang to her. She was the center of attention and the crowd’s favorite in the stated pageant, even though she outwits all of her opponents.

Even though there were two (2) participants from the Philippines, she was the only one who made it to the top three till the end. As they revealed the winner, Kevin Balot was wholly startled and unprepared for the outcome on that particular night.
