On Tuesday, Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Josh Sills was charged with rape and kidnapping in Ohio.
According to the indictment, Sills was charged with an incident with a woman in Guernsey County, Ohio, on December 5, 2019.

According to a Police report in Guernsey County, Ohio, Josh Sills has been accused of allegedly forcing a woman to perform oral sex in his truck. The piece dates back to 2019, and the case has been active since then.
The incident occurred at around 2 am on December 5, 2019, after Sills had given her and her cousin a ride from a local café to her cousin’s home.
In the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office docs, it has been mentioned that the lineman was 21 years old at that time, and he had grabbed her arm and pulled her back in the truck as soon as her cousin got out of the car.
Reportedly, the woman in the case had bruises on her right ear, her inner lips, and the back of her left knee following the alleged assault, and the Police department has proof and photos of her injuries.
Josh Sills is set to attend a hearing in the case at the court on February 16, 2023, just four days after Eagle’s first match in Super Bowl LVII.
