The American photographer Jimmy Chin was born on October 12, 1973, in Mankato, Minnesota, United States of America. He is the son of Chinese parents, Frank Chin and Yen Yen Chin.
Similarly, Jimmy holds an American nationality and is of South Asian ethnicity. Also, the photographer went to Manako West High School and later joined Carleton College for higher studies. Likewise, he graduated with a degree in Bachelors of Arts in Asian Studies.
