Isaiah Forest death investigation is being conducted by the Marshalltown Police Department in Iowa, and has arrested a suspect.
After receiving a 911 call, Marshalltown Police discovered 27-year-old Isaiah Forest dead at a residence on West Boone Street at 4:03 pm Friday. Amarrion Isom, 20, was charged with first-degree murder in Forest’s death on Sunday.
According to court records, the murder was motivated by an ongoing dispute about a debt Forest allegedly owed Isom. Many witnesses were questioned, including one who claimed to have seen Isom shoot Forest when he opened the door.

Isaiah Forest Death: Amarrion Isom Arrested In Connection Of The Murder Charge
Marshalltown Police say a 20-year-old man is being held in connection with a killing last week.
Amarrion Demeir Isom, 20, has been detained and accused of murder in the first degree. According to Police, no more suspects are being sought, and there is no immediate threat to the public.
On Friday, March 17, Police responded to a complaint on West Boone Street and discovered the body of 27-year-old Isaiah Montell Forest. According to investigators, the autopsy confirmed Forest died from a gunshot wound.

A 911 caller “described [Isom] as a person having an ongoing argument with Forest,” according to the criminal complaint.
The investigation is still underway, and the Marshall County Attorney’s Office and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation support the Marshalltown Police Department.
He is also a suspect in a robbery investigation in Marshalltown. According to Police, a 23-year-old lady reported being robbed at gunpoint on Monday, March 6. Isom was arrested and accused of robbery on Saturday.
According to the woman, Isom snatched her luggage to clear a debt with her boyfriend. She informed authorities that she believed Isom did not shoot her because other people were present.

According to KCCI, the murder probe led to the robbery investigation. Isom is being detained in the Marshall County Prison on a cash bail of $1 million. He will appear in court again next week.
According to the chief, this was an isolated event between the two. “Before the robbery, the victim and Mr. Isom were acquainted.
And because of the murder inquiry, the victim and Mr. Isom knew one other,” he claims. “So we’re still looking into why all of this happened. We’ve got a terrific concept.”
Tupper said they would not provide further information about the murder since they are still investigating.
“We collected probable cause and evidence to imply that Marion Isom was also murdered on March 17,” Tupper said. And he was charged with first-degree murder late yesterday night.”
The Marshalltown Police Department is working with the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation on the inquiry. The Marshall County 911 Communications Center, the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, the Marshalltown Fire Department, and UnityPoint Ambulance Service all assisted the Marshalltown Police at the scene. They also received assistance from the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation Crime Scene Team.
