Lanto Griffin Injury got media attention after the professional golf player announced his lower back surgery.
Lanto Griffin is an American professional golfer on the PGA Tour who was born on June 15, 1988, in Mount Shasta, California.
Lanto attended Virginia Commonwealth University, where he played college golf. He successfully garnered the Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Year in 2009.

Golf: Lanto Griffin Injury: Has He Recovered From His Back Surgery?
Griffin announced in July 2022 that he underwent a microdiscectomy to repair a ruptured disc in his lower back, and his recovery will keep him off the PGA Tour for at least five to six months.
Griffin revealed he wasn’t able to lift a golf club since missing a cut at the John Deere Classic, his third missed cut.
Griffin said he originally ruptured his L5-S1 disc, also called the lumbosacral joint, in May 2020, but it ruptured again, more seriously, when Griffin was picking up his son in the middle of the night.
While his timetable for a competitive return held him back for much of the 2022 season. He said he woke up after surgery with no nerve pain in his right glute and hamstring.
But he is in good shape ahead of his return to the PGA Tour at this week’s Farmers Insurance Open.

Lanto Griffen’s best finish is a T-12 to start his rookie season on the PGA Tour in 2018, he improved that with a T-11 at Sanderson Farms in September 2019.
Griffen first earned his card by finishing 22nd on the Web.com Tour in October 2017.
The golf player was born in California and grew up in Blacksburg, Virginia. His parents were hippies. His siblings along with him were raised as strict vegetarians.
He said- his dad would rather hang out with them than go to his job managing a health food store. His siblings had their interests, but he loved sports.
He played for four years at Virginia Commonwealth University. His first professional event was at the Hooters Winter Series. He shot 71-66-75 and earned $975.
Lanto said- aside from the $950 entry fee, it was the absolute best. He was paired with Will Wilcox in the final round.
But there comes a point when you don’t want to go back, he had $30,000 in credit cards and his mother paid for his health insurance.
The generous members of the Blacksburg Country Club did not ask him to repay the money they had invested in him. However, he would work all week to pay off another $3,000 in debt and wonder: What job does he have?
At one time, the biggest check of his career was $17,000 which he earned caddying for Wilcox. In the spring of 2017, Lanto made $4,800 through 10 events, however, he decided to quit.
Soon After, he went to the Nashville Open and qualified for Web.com. Similarly, he won the event and $99,000.
Now, Lanto Griffin is one of the prominent players in the field of golf. He has got his place and can afford anything.
The player made his competitive comeback after surgery with the Korn Ferry Tour and posted this on his social media accounts.
He finished T66 in that event and looks to continue to improve as he prepares for a solid layout at Torrey Pines.

Lanto Griffin heads to the Genesis Invitational 2023 at Riviera CC with +40,000 odds. In his most recent appearance at the event, The Genesis Invitational 2022, he finished 39th.
Griffin finished five under par, finished his day without a bogey once, and finished six rounds over par in his last 14 rounds played.
In one of his last 14 rounds, he posted one of the top 10 results of the day.
Over the last 14 rounds, Griffin finished the day three strokes above the round score once and three times within five strokes of the day’s top score.
