Fox River Grove Teenager Ellie Masukevich Is Arrested After Battering Officers During DUI Traffic Stop
Ellie Grace Masukevich, at the time 18, was arrested after a traffic stop in Crystal Lake.
According to the court records, the incident occurred when officers stopped her 2006 Honda Pilot on Route 14 at Pingree Road for observed traffic violations, including improper turn signals and lane usage.
Moreover, officers determined during the stop that Masukevich was under the influence of alcohol. She had alcoholic beverages in her possession despite being underage.
Furthermore, officers attempted to arrest the young girl, who resisted and became physically violent.
Allegations of her actions include biting two officers, spitting on two others, digging fingernails into one officer’s hands and legs, and grabbing onto an officer’s wrist.
During the fight with the officer, she shouted,
Just because you’re with the law it doesn’t mean you can touch me without consent! I have the right to not let you search my car. You don’t have the right to search my car!!!
After Masukevich was put in custody she asked if her parents could bail her out the same evening, however, the officers denied her claim which led to her bawling out.
Many people reacted to her tantrum and some even said;
Her parents should leave her in there so she’ll learn a lesson! She thinks she’s privileged.

Ellie MasuKevich Faces Multiple Charges after DUI Arrest And Altercation With Officers
Ellie MasuKevich faced various charges, which included five counts of aggravated battery to a police officer, two counts of driving under the influence, resisting a peace officer, and possession of liquor by a minor.
Other allegations included following another vehicle too closely, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, improper traffic lane usage, and transportation of alcohol as a driver.
Also, the Cary-Grove High School student was initially held on a $20,000 bond but later released on a personal recognizance bond following a court appearance.
A preliminary hearing was scheduled for December 30, 2022. Also, the video of her altercation with the police officers has been trending online.
The videos show her throwing tantrums and hitting her head on her car followed by some shouting and crying.
Since her last post in November 2022, the rebellious girl has been quite inactive on her Facebook platform.
