Conway worked as a law clerk for Judge Ralph K. Winter Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in 1987 and 1988.
Conway began working with Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in September 1988. In January 1994, he was made a partner of the Company in the litigation department, earning a million dollars annually.
Conway’s practice specializes in antitrust, contracts, securities, mergers & acquisitions, and litigation. Wachtell Lipton reported average partner profits of $5.8 million in 2016.
Is George Conway Married?
In the late 1990s, Conway dated Laura Ingraham, a conservative commentator. He approached Ann Coulter for an introduction after seeing Kellyanne Fitzpatrick on the cover of a social publication, and they soon started dating. In 2001, George and Kellyanne got hitched.
They reside in Washington, D.C., and have four kids. The family resided in Closter, New Jersey, before Trump was president.
Conway’s daughter Claudia made several anti-Trump comments on TikTok in 2020. On July 2, she asserted that her Father had approved her use of her right to free speech and express her own opinions.
Kellyanne defended Trump’s comments in an interview by saying he was “a counterpuncher” and had the right to defend himself when attacked. George and Kellyanne announced their divorce in March 2023 after 22 years of marriage.
