Corden, James Kimberley OBE is a comedian, writer, and television personality from England. He is best known in the United Kingdom for co-writing and acting in the highly acclaimed BBC comedy Gavin & Stacey.
Corden made his stage debut at 18 with an unimportant part in the 1996 musical Guerre Martin. His first TV reporting gig was with the BBC’s Good Morning with Anne and Nick, where he interviewed Meat Loaf.

James Corden is departing The Late Late Show. James has been bringing pleasure and humor to late-night viewers’ homes for over a decade, and he stated earlier this week that the following 2022-2023 season would be his last.
His departure will mark the end of his eight-and-a-half years as host of the show, which he was initially hired in 2015.
James temporarily left The Late Late Show in 2019 to film the comedy musical The Prom; however, he has stated that he would not return.

In an interview published on Thursday by Deadline, the talk show host stated that he has been mulling the move for some time. “It’s a difficult decision for me to go because I’m so proud of the program,” James told the news site.
“I’m overjoyed to be extending [his contract for another year]. I figured I’d do [the show] for five years and then quit, but I ended up staying.
I’ve been thinking about it for a long time, wondering whether there would be another adventure.”
Where Is James Corden Going? Is The Going To End?
James Corden has not revealed any new information regarding his future business as he is still arranging his exit from the program.
For the time being, the show will not be canceled. Fans of James will be able to watch him host Carpool Karaoke with other celebs and do many more of his funny routines for another year.
In terms of where the program will go after 2023, CBS execs have yet to say if it will continue or whether James will be replaced.
According to CBS President and CEO George Cheeks, James successfully engaged with viewers through creative risks he made with segments such as Crosswalk the Musical and Carpool Karaoke.
“We wish he could remain longer, but we are thrilled that he chose CBS as his American home and that this cooperation will continue for another season on The Late Late Show.”
The Late Late Show Executive producer Ben Winston hinted in a tweet that his employment on the show would end in 2023 as well.
