Brandon Cottom is a former American football player, works as a security specialist, and was the contestant for the 44th season of Survivor.

He was born on December 21, 1992, making him 31 years old. 

The Seahawks signed Cottom on May 2, 2015, and he was released from the contract on August 31, 2015. He was listed on injured reserve on September 1, 2015.

The Seahawks released him on September 3, 2015. However, Cottom was re-signed to the practice squad on November 16 of the same year.

Unfortunately, the Seahawks removed Cottom from the team on August 20, 2016, and gave him an injured designation.

Cottom renewed his contract with the Seahawks on May 5. However, the Seahawks finally released Cottom on May 15, 2017.

A year after his release Cottom joined the Alliance Salt Lake City of the Alliance of American Football on September 14, 2018. However, a couple of months after, Cottom was reassigned to the Philadelphia Soul of the Arena Football League.

During Cottom’s time in Boilermakers, he showed up in 38 games. He participated in each of the 12 games in 2013, made three starts, and ran for 45 runs totaling 154 yards and one touchdown.

At Michigan State on October 19, 2013, Brandon had a season-high 12 carries for 39 yards and caught seven catches for 99 yards. 

On November 9 against Iowa, Cottom carried the ball 12 times for 26 yards. Similarly, while at Indiana, Cottom had the ball four times for 19 yards with a touchdown and caught a pass for 70 yards.

Rivals ranked him as Pennsylvania’s No. 26 player. With an ankle injury that kept him out for a significant portion of his senior season, Brandon could still average 5.9 yards per carry and score six rushing touchdowns. On 12 carries versus Bensalem, he gained 139 yards in a rush, including the longest rush of the season of 55 yards.
