According to the prison’s website, Julie Chrisley is incarcerated at FMC Lexington, Kentucky, an “administrative security federal medical center with an attached minimum security satellite camp.”

According to court records examined by The Times on Tuesday, Julie Chrisley will now serve her sentence at the Federal Medical Center in Lexington, Ky.

Instead of the Federal Correctional Institution Marianna in Florida, she is now serving in Lexington. It was unknown if she would complete her time in Kentucky.

In June, a Georgia court found the Chrisleys, famous for their reality show “Chrisley Knows Best,” guilty of conspiring to defraud banks out of more than $30 million in fictitious loans.

According to the Department of Justice, the couple and their accountant were also found guilty of multiple tax offenses, including trying to deceive the IRS and avoid having back taxes collected.

What Did Todd And Julie Chrisley Do?

The Chrisley was suspected of providing forged paperwork when seeking loans and rental property, and they were charged with felony bank fraud and tax evasion.

The Chrisley Knows Best actors’ trial began in May 2022, more than two years after Todd and Julie Chrisley were charged with many bank and wire fraud, tax evasion, and conspiracy charges.

On May 17, Todd and Julie appeared in court in Atlanta for the beginning of the case.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Annalise Peters stated during the opening comments that the two lied about their income to banks to obtain a loan of more than $30 million.

What was The Chrisleys trial verdict?

On June 7, 2022, Todd and Julie were found guilty on all counts in a federal court in Georgia after a trial that lasted almost three weeks.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, they were found guilty of conspiring to conduct bank fraud, bank fraud conspiring to defraud the United States, and tax fraud. Also found guilty of wire fraud was Julie.

According to Insider, Peter Tarantino, the couple’s former attorney, was also convicted of conspiring to cheat the U.S. government and knowingly filing fraudulent tax forms.

The pair soon submitted a motion for bail, but it was rejected on January 11, 2023. Additionally, the court turned down their request to delay their surrender by 21 days.
