Born in London on 20th February 1990, Anjli Mohindra spent her childhood in West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire, alongside her parents, Suranjan and Atul Mohindra.

During her formative years, she had a unique experience living on a military base in Germany, where she stood out as the only ethnic minority child among 2,000 students attending an Armed Forces school.

Mohindra’s parents, fondly known as “Sandy” and “Boby,” embrace Hinduism, hail from India, and deeply cherish their Punjabi heritage, including the language and cultural traditions.

Her father, who grew up in Kenya during British colonization, clerically served in the British Army for several years.
