The girl’s parents sued Sizemore and the film’s producers for allegedly touching their daughter’s genitalia during a photo shoot.
Similarly, he asserted that he had never met the alleged victim and refuted the accusations. Sizemore’s talent agency let him go after the lawsuit was settled out of court.
No to mention, widespread criticism of Sizemore and his actions followed the charges. He received a lot of backlash from people in the entertainment world and on social media.
The allegations have sparked debate over the prevalence of sexual misbehavior in Hollywood and the necessity of more robust protections for kids on set.
The Actress, 26, sued Sizemore in May 2018 and requested at least $3 million in damages. She claimed that Sizemore’s alleged abuse led to lifelong emotional difficulties.
Born Killers staff member whose responsibility was to watch over the kid performers on set noticed nothing improper, according to a statement from Sizemore’s publicist, who again refuted the allegations of abuse.
But, a Utah Judge dismissed the complaint, according to a report from USA Today published on August 27, 2020.
She claimed that Sizemore had violated her, but Sizemore once more refuted this claim, saying: “Beyond the loss of work and the pain and humiliation this has caused my family and me the thought that an 11-year-old girl would think I violated her, whether it be because she misconstrued some accidental touching.
