The Tragic Death Of Tadarius Massey Has Revealed That He Was A Victim Of An Abusive Relationship
Tadarius Massey, 20, was stabbed to d*ath on August 14, 2024, after an altercation with his girlfriend Zoe Nicole Cooper from West Orange County, Florida.
The argument reportedly started when the young man would not give his phone to Cooper.
According to the investigators, this disagreement got physical, which involved the stabbing of the Massey multiple times.
Moreover, he had a cut on his forehead and had injuries to his neck indicative of strangulation and he was taken to a hospital not far away from his residence.
His friends carried the 19-year-old into the emergency entrance, however, Cooper never entered the hospital.
Also, the guy was listed in critical condition until he was pronounced de*d shortly afterward.
Autopsy reports showed that he died of a stab wound to his heart and another wound to his shoulder.
Disturbingly, two older, healed stab wounds were also found on his body, which further suggested that the boy had faced prior violence.
It has been reported that Massey had spoken to people, including his Subway manager and school officials, about Cooper’s abusive behavior toward him in the past.
The past altercation included a stabbing incident in March 2024 and a physical attack at their high school in December 2023.
Zoe Nicole Cooper Arrested And Charged With Second-Degree Murder In M*rder In Connection To Tadarius Massey’s d*ath
Three months following Tadarius Marquise Massey’s demise, Zoe Nicole Cooper, 18 was arr*sted in Houston, Texas, and charged with second-degree m*rder.
Her arrest came after an investigation uncovered past threats and violent behaviors toward the Florida boy.
Moreover, cell phone record forensics revealed messages from Cooper that were incriminating, which included d*ath threats and regret for not having k*lled him earlier.
In one of those messages in March, she wished for his painful d*ath and vowed hostility even in d*ath, saying;
And Ima spit in yo grave. I wish you would have died that day. Seriously, I hope you die a very painful death.
In the aftermath of what happened, the teenager used social media to express her regret, a photo of herself and Massey was posted online with an apologetic message stating she was deeply sorry.
Cooper shared;
If I could take it back or trade place in a heartbeat, I would. I love you always. I’m truly sorry for what I did. It wasn’t supposed to be this way.
