Shawn bolz Scandal Rocks Faith Community: Fraud Allegations and the divide over prophetic integrity

Shawn Bolz, one of the more recognizable figures in the charismatic Christian world, finds himself at the center of a controversy that is being revived and new ones are emerging.

He was recently accused of crafting prophetic words through personal data mining, questioning the validity of his ministry.

Ron Cantor, a respected Messianic author, said leaders at Bethel Church confronted Bolz years ago with proof of his tactics.

However, critics say those same leaders never publicly rebuked him, a biblical requirement to prevent others from being deceived.

Exactly. A few people, including Matthew Hartke did an analysis years ago, and this is just now getting traction. If there wasn’t widespread exposure happening, I’m sure this would still be met with a yawn and a “He isn’t under our authority.”

Furthermore, some audience members were outraged since the Bolz topic is not new, and many people are now voicing issues first raised in 2019 and 2020.

It’s just so maddening to me that people are upset over Shawn Bolz being “exposed” for being a fraud and false prophet, acting as if this is new news. Shawn has been being confronted, and has been PUBLICLY called out on social media for 6 YEARS or more.

The Tiktok User, Jubilee Dawn Unveils Prophetic Ab*se Scandal Involving Shawn Bolz

The harrowing story of TikTok user Jubilee Dawn sent shockwaves through social media, revealing the darker side of prophetic ministries, including Shawn Bolz.

After receiving a “word of knowledge” from him at Bethel Church, she married her ab*ser, believing that it was from God.

Dawn lived in terror, facing years of domestic violence while clinging to the prophecy as if it was God’s will.

She later found out that the prophecy was fabricated, taken from publicly available information on Facebook.

Now safe and active on Instagram and TikTok, Dawn boldly shares the dangers of prophetic and spiritual abuse and encourages discussions about the trauma such manipulation can cause.

She exposed Bolz saying,

Um.. i got  confirmation that he is a con artist and i know we know that he was a con artist, okay!! Like.. we’ve been knowing this. There has been a lot of speculation around this prophet for years that he gets all his words off of Facebook and social media. And throughout the time that i have shared my story, i have said that the information that he had was directly available on my Facebook.
