Meet Michael Esper Parents

Michael Esper was born as the son of the late William Esper (1932-2019) and Suzzane Esper. His parents are closely connected to Film and TV Industry as they worked as acting teachers.

They have an acting studio named William Esper Studio, where many young talents come to hone their skills in the craft of acting and public speaking. Suzzane currently handles the studio after the death of her husband.

As mentioned above, Shannon is Michael Esper’s sister, and both have made a name in the American Film Industry and on Broadway.

His Father, William Esper, established his studio in New York City in 1965. He has been overseeing the Professional Actor Training Programs at Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University, since their inception in 1977.

He directed Circle Repertory Theatre’s workshop in NYC in 1975-76 and has acted and directed Off-Broadway and regionally. He’s also a member of the Ensemble Studio Theatre.

On the other hand, his mother, Suzanne Esper, completed her studies at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre. She received instruction from figures such as Sanford Meisner and her husband, William Esper.

Following a hiatus from performing on stage, he returned in February 2014, starring opposite Nina Arianda in the Off-Broadway premiere of David Grimm’s latest work, Tales from Red Vienna.
