A Chicago-born and one-time performer, Mrs. Moore sang and performed in musical shows and after a road accident that terminated her singing career, she switched to the commercial side of music. 

Furthermore, she managed star careers such as Billy Preston’s, produced events such as President George H.W. Bush’s inauguration, and even co-founded the Rhythm & Blues Foundation.
