Australian soccer player Sam Kerr is widely known as one of the most excellent forwards in women’s soccer.

Born Samantha May Kerr on September 10, 1993, in East Fremantle, Perth, Western Australia, she started her career at 15 with Perth Glory FC, where she played from 2008 to 2012.

She then moved to Sydney FC before joining the Western New York Flash for the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) inaugural season in the United States.

During her stint there, she helped the team win the NWSL Shield. In the same league, Sam Kerr later played for Sky Blue FC and the Chicago Red Stars.

In 2019, expressing her interest in playing in Europe, she signed with Chelsea FC and has since played forward for the FA Women’s Super League team.
