The drummer wrote a heartfelt tribute to his son on social media and enumerated how sad yet comforted he is to know JC is in a much better place.
He expressed;
It is with great sadness we share our beloved JC is now in the arms of Jesus. He is pain free running through heaven. We appreciate your thoughts & prayers and ask you respect of the family’s privacy at this time.
Right now, I need to be at home for my family, particularly my son JC, who has autism. He’s 10 years old now and still struggling in his development. I feel the only way I can help him is to be more hands on and close to home.

Randy Ragsdale, along with his wife, Jamie Ragsdale, are grieving the loss of their son, JC Ragsdale, 25, who was dealing with a developmental problem.
