Although it was probably made to make fun of Met Gala, many people obliviously believed he walked the red carpet with that men-in-black drip.
In that photo, he wore a high-top commando boot, a hip-hop punk jogger, a puffer jacket, and a helmet, all in black; however, after an in-depth analysis, it was found that the photo was edited, and the person is not Playboi Carti.
The original photo was fetched from Rockstar Made, a single dropped by an indie rapper JayRtheRula in 2021. It can be viewed on Spotify.
A Reddit user commented, “Playboi Carti has fallen down the stairs at the Met Gala.” They probably didn’t notice that the image was edited. Another user said, “You had me for a second, ngl (not gonna lie).”
Likewise, another person in the subreddit expressed the importance of deleting misinformation, stating that it is not a joke and can mislead people.
“Carti ain’t goin’ to no making met gala. The event is pointless; it’s just celebrities wearing the most outrageous things. I could dress better,” said another Reddit user.

Playboi Carti reportedly choked pregnant girlfriend
Playboi Carti was charged with felony aggravated assault a few months ago after allegedly attacking his pregnant girlfriend.
As per the arrest affidavit, which TMZ, the girlfriend of Carti, acquired informed law enforcement officials that he seized her by the neck and shoved her, clasping her throat so tightly that she struggled to breathe.
The woman revealed to the officers that she had been in a romantic relationship with Playboi Carti for two years, had been cohabiting with him since July 2022, and was 14 weeks pregnant during the purported occurrence on December 20th.
She intended to discuss the baby with Playboi Carti, and their exchange regarding a paternity test led to a dispute that she asserts became physical.
