Pei Hwa Presbyterian Primary School’s vice-principal has resigned after being accused of having an extramarital affair with a student’s mother.
The photos of the alleged affair were first uploaded on Thursday, October 17, 2024, in a Facebook post from a woman claiming to be the vice principal’s wife.

Additional details regarding the resignation of the vice principal who was accused of having an affair have emerged.
According to Shin Min Daily News, they received the news of the vice principal’s scandal through an email on October 17, 2024, containing photos that show her husband, aka vice principal, in intimate poses with an unidentified woman.
Some of the photos showed the man kissing and hugging the woman. It also included screenshots of their chat history.
They contacted a woman through Facebook who claimed to be the vice-principals wife, who said she found out about the affair.
One of the screenshots was of an Instagram story, which showcased the two hugging each other with the caption,
You who have always protected me silently. Thank you.”
The screenshots included explicit messages; one showed the agreement between the vice principal and the parent on how they should not cut each other off.
Vice-Principal’s wife had posted a photo of the jewelry her husband had given the parents and also claimed her husband tried to destroy evidence of the affair by smashing his phone.
She claimed that she discovered the affair a few days ago and made a police report. She said that the affair had been going on for about a year and a half.
According to Shin Min, the wife’s page shows she has been married to her husband for over 30 years. As of October 18, 2024, the posts about the affair have been taken down.
On the other hand, the vice-principals’ name was removed from the school’s website.
When Shin Min asked her what she intended to do next on October 19, 2024, the wife replied, “She did not know yet.”
The affected school will continue closely monitoring the teacher’s and student’s condition and provide support when necessary.
Meanwhile, other parents have expressed their shock over the matter. In response to media queries, the Ministry of Education (MOE) said it had been made aware of the matter, and the vice-principal has tendered his resignation. MOE wrote,
“School leaders are expected to maintain high standards of personal conduct to uphold the integrity and reputation of the Public Service. The Ministry of Education is aware of the matter and is looking into it. The individual has tendered his resignation and is currently on leave. Meanwhile, the school will continue to actively monitor staff and students’ wellbeing and provide the necessary support.”
