Businessman Cedric Lee arrived and testified at the bail hearing for imprisoned TV host Ferdinand “Vhong” Navarro, charged with raping model Deniece Cornejo on January 17, 2014.
The Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 69, which is hearing the rape case, has received Navarro’s petition for bail.
On October 13, businessman Cedric Lee and lawyer Howard Calleja appeared at the Taguig Hall of Justice to give testimony for the prosecution during TV anchor Vhong Navarro’s bail hearing.
Two thousand fourteen allegations against Navarro include the alleged rape of Deniece Cornejo.
In connection with the rape case, the court issued a non-bailable warrant of arrest for him on September 19. Navarro is now being held at the National Bureau of Investigation Detention Facility in Manila.
