Pastor DeJaughn “Billy” Murphy sadly passed away after a prolonged illness. He was the brother of Bishop William Murphy III, Senior Pastor of dReam Center Atlanta.
Billy Murphy, 42, was also preceded in death by his twin brother, Minister DeVaughn Murphy, who passed away in 2015.

A proud graduate of Oakland University, Pastor Murphy’s roots trace back to Detroit, Michigan, where he grew up before relocating to Los Angeles, California.
Stacey M. English, who used to work with Pastor DeJaughn Murphy, expressed that he always encouraged her when she needed it most, even though he, too, needed encouragement.
Now, she believes God has given him the rest he deserves, and she praises God for the miracles, signs, and wonders that will follow him.
This was his last text to me💔😢 He would always encourage me just when I needed it the most. Even though he himself needed to be encouraged. The dove was our signature sign off saying “It’s gone be alright” as we worked together in kingdom building. God has given you rest! To God be the glory!! Miracles, signs and wonder shall follow you🙌🏽

Salea expressed her gratitude for being a part of a project with him that will last longer.
Well… to hear early this morning… I’m still processing. We talked EVERYTiMe you stopped at Dream center. You and James had your own relationship and talked about the things you both dealt with. A fight well fought and a fight you’ve honestly won. W.O.W—- I’m grateful to have been apart of a project with you that exceeds time.
