Nick Offerman was born to Ric Offerman and Cathy Offerman on June 26, 1970, in Joliet, Illinois; however, he grew up in nearby Minooka.

Ric used to be a teacher at a junior high school in nearby Channahon. He taught social studies to his students.

According to E Online, Nick and Megan first met in 2000 during the “The Berlin Circle” shoot. Offerman was not at ease for the first time meeting his wife Megan due to her intimidating personality.
However, the couple sparked the romance, and love bloomed between them. In 2002, Offerman and Mullally got engaged and eventually tied the knot after a year.
It was not the first marriage for Megan Mullally. She was previously married to James Thomas Hines on October 31, 1982. However, her relationship wasn’t smooth sailing with James, and ultimately, they parted ways.
