Also, the TV personality was accused of being involved in a fraudulent scheme where her image was allegedly used to attract investors to a business venture that the SEC did not properly register and approve.
The star’s husband, Chito Miranda, has defended his wife after her arrest, stating that she has never deceived or taken money from anyone.
He explained that her kindness had often been taken advantage of and that she had innocently allowed her image to be used in fraud cases, resulting in complaints filed against her.
