A TikTok prankster known as Mizzy has recently been arrested for assault after posting videos depicting him harassing Jews. Bacari Ogarro gained significant attention on YouTube, with his videos garnering almost two million views.
Despite having a considerable following on YouTube and Instagram, Mizzy has been banned by TikTok. In one of the videos, Mizzy can be seen approaching a young Charedi man at a bus stop.
He jumps into the air, places his hands on the man’s shoulders, and attempts to leapfrog over him. Another video shows him cycling while wearing a choice hat and making derogatory remarks, saying, Guys, I’m a f**king Jew.
In a particularly alarming clip titled “Who leaves their door open like that,” Mizzy enters the home of a Jewish family, briefly wandering around their House before running out.
Mizzy claims in one of his YouTube videos that the Police held him for 36 hours for a TikTok. He walks around Stamford Hill, initiating conversations with strangers, and repeatedly insists that he is not an antisemite.
He states that the videos were merely him “f**king around with people” in his area, including Jewish people, black people, and white people. Mizzy said two Police officers chased him into his House and handcuffed him.
Initially arrested for racially aggravated assault, he was later told he was being charged with criminal damage but not a hate crime. He pleaded not guilty to criminal damage the following morning.
The Metropolitan Police released a statement confirming the arrest of an 18-year-old man for assaulting a member of the Jewish community. The individual has been released under investigation, and inquiries are ongoing.
