South Korean actress Kim Sae-Ron. She began her career at nine and rose to fame as a child actor in the films A Brave New Life and The Man From Nowhere. Kim was cast more prominent roles as she grew older, notably in the film A Girl at My Door.
Kim’s first acting part was in A Whole New Life, a 2009 film directed by French-Korean filmmaker Ounie Lecomte and primarily based on her life.
Kim played the leading role, Jin-hee, a nine-year-old girl abandoned in an orphanage by her father when he remarries and is subsequently adopted by a French couple.
She was cast in the SBS drama Trolley in April 2022. Later in May 2022, though, she departed the project after wrecking her vehicle and being charged with drunk driving.

Kim Sae Ron was involved in a drunk driving incident in Cheongdam, Gangnam District, according to information from multiple media, including the Korea JoongAng Daily and The Korea Times.

Kim Sae Ron’s vehicle hit a building and a tree many times throughout the event, causing severe damage.
The police attempted to detect her blood alcohol concentration with a breathalyzer at first, but Kim demanded a blood test and was transferred to a local hospital for evaluation.
The subsequent blood test indicated a blood alcohol level of 0.2 percent, above the legal limit of 0.08 percent. The crash damaged lampposts, guardrails, and an electric transformer, causing a power outage in 57 surrounding eateries.
Kim Sae Ron told the judge, “I contacted a driver to pick me up, and I drove to the spot believing it was just a short distance,” adding that she had stopped drinking.
She went on, “This will never occur again. I apologize. I’m sorry for my acts, and I’m thinking about them. I’ve given up drinking and sold my automobile. I’m my family’s earner, and it’s been challenging for me to make ends meet. Please be merciful to me.”

As previously reported, Kim Sae Ron appeared in the 4th division of the Seoul Central District Court for his first trial for breaking the Road Traffic Act (DUI).
In May of last year, the actress was driving under the influence when she collided with a guardrail, road edge, and transformer on Gangnam’s street, and her Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) was 0.2% at the time of the accident.
The implications of the drunk driving event went beyond legal punishment. Kim Sae Ron left the drama series “Trolley,” and the choice to cut her parts and extend the release date of the finished Netflix Korean series “Hunting Dogs” was still being debated.
The event caused interruptions in traffic and power outages. Kim Sae Ron suffered legal ramifications as a result of her acts.
The Seoul Central District Court penalized her 20 million won (about $15,300) for driving under the influence. Despite alleging financial troubles, she was obliged to pay the fine.
