The Search for suspects in the murder of 55-year-old Khudhair Hamdan is still under investigation & APD believes the process shouldn’t take much time.
A man from Arlington was shot and killed while giving a demonstration drive to potential customers after the family agreed to buy a car through a social media app.
Khudhair Hamdan, 55, was discovered dead and lying on the road on Port Richmond Way by Arlington officers on Tuesday.
According to detectives, Hamdan agreed to give a prospective buyer a test drive while assisting a family member in selling a vehicle on a social media app.
According to Police, two individuals wanted for the shooting of Khudhair Hamdan are not located & the investigation is ongoing & the suspects are under Police search.
Residents called Police to report a guy who was unresponsive and lying in the road in the 700 block of Port Richmond Way, close to Silo Road, at around six o’clock on Tuesday.

The murder of Khudhair Hamdan: 55-Year-Old Was Shot To Death
According to the Police, two young men arrived at Khudhair Hamdan’s House the night after he agreed to take a potential buyer for a test drive & three of them left in the car together.
Hamdan got out of the car and collapsed, according to detectives, who think one of the suspects pulled a gun and shot the 55-year-old man to death.
Later the Police discovered the suspects had taken off with the car, and the vehicle was later found at the intersection of Matlock Road and Sublett Road.
During the preliminary investigation, the Police got surveillance images of the suspects from where the vehicle was found.

Police are cautioning people not to meet up with persons they met online.
According to APD, there are marked safe zones at each of their four patrol stations nearby the shooting incident of Khudhair Hamdan.
As per the reports published by Arlington police, the agency “strongly encourages” people to trade goods obtained through online marketplaces in places designated as secure, like petrol stations.

Investigation & Search for suspects of Arlington murder
Arlington Police said they are looking to identify two men suspected in the fatal shooting of another man, Khudhair Hamdan, trying to sell a car through social media on Tuesday, March 21, 2023.
At the intersection of Matlock and Sublett roads, where the car was discovered abandoned, surveillance footage showed the two males exiting the vehicle, according to the police.
For information resulting in an indictment and conviction in the case, APD announced that Oak Farms Dairy had agreed to give a $10,000 reward.
Two young men went to Hamdan’s House to test drive the car, and the three departed together in it, according to video evidence and witness accounts.
Investigators assume one of the suspects pulled a gun while driving down Port Richmond Way and shot Hamdan, who got out of the vehicle and passed out.
According to authorities, the suspects kept driving after allegedly shooting 55-year-old Khudhair Hamdan & left the vehicle at Matlock Road and Sublett Road.
Other details on the Search & arrest of the suspects are under investigation & the research process is pacing steadily, according to the Arlington Police department.
