37-year-old Kesaria Abramideze, a former pageant candidate from Georgia, was also a model and actress.

She was Georgia’s first trans public figure who openly expressed herself. She gained recognition for her bold and confident presence in the media and fashion world.

The model’s transformation journey began with surgeries to align her physical appearance with her gender identity. 

Moreover, she underwent breast surgery 15 years ago, and four years ago, she completed her gender reassignment surgery. 

Through this process, the actress also changed her legal documents, including her passport. She did all of this to reflect her true identity as a woman. 

Also, the late actress had been open about the challenges she faced and the steps required to make this transformation. 

Similarly, she always helped to raise awareness about the experiences of transgender individuals in her country.

Before completing her transformation to become a woman, she took steps to preserve her ability to have a biological child by freezing her genetic material abroad. 

She shared; 

When I am ready to become a mother, I will call them, they will start the procedure, I will have a child in 9 months and they will bring me. Before that, a lot of things have to be sorted out in personal life. I believe that having a child is such a serious issue that you should be ready for it.

The Georgian Model Kesaria Abramidze Was Found Dead In Her Apartment 

Kesaria Abramidze, a reputed personality, was found brutally murdered in her Tbilisi apartment on the night of September 18, 2024.

The police believe that her boyfriend Jaiani is responsible for her d*ath, and the case is being treated as a premeditated murder with special cruelty related to her gender identity.

Neighbours and friends had previously reported signs of a toxic and abusive relationship between the two, with Abramidze suffering from both physical and mental abuse.

The murder shocked the public, especially given the ongoing issues with anti-LGBTQ+ violence in Georgia. 

Furthermore, the social media personality’s d*ath came just one day after the Georgian  Parliament passed controversial anti-LGBT legislation.
