Is Jackson Mahomes Arrested? Sexual Assault Charges
The younger brother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Jackson Mahomes, has been charged with assault.
According to Kansas City Chiefs, in late February, he is suspected of assaulting a server and restaurant proprietor in Overland Park, Kansas.
A 19-year-old male waiter, asked to remain unnamed, claims Jackson shoved him. This occurred before he allegedly forced Aspen Vaughn, the 40-year-old female proprietor of Aspen’s Restaurant and Bar, to kiss her.
The claimed occurrences allegedly occurred at Aspens Restaurant and Longue in Overland Park, Kansas, on February 25. Aspen Vaughn, the owner, claimed to have a video showing Mahomes grasping her neck and making two attempts to kiss her.
After the claim, Police are reviewing the security footage from last Saturday night at the business as part of their investigation. One video of the confrontation between Mahomes and Vaughn has circulated on social media.
On February 25, Mahomes reportedly arrived at the restaurant with five friends at roughly 9:30 pm. The waiter allegedly tried to grab his water bottle when they entered an office in the basement and shut the door.
The group eventually relocated to an upper VIP room. Vaughn reportedly urged the group to quit smoking after smelling the smell of marijuana wafting from that area.
Then, Mahomes requested a private conversation with Vaughn to discuss the alleged pushing of the waitress. He allegedly grabbed her neck as he joined her in the office in the basement.
Further, Police informed them that it would be “inappropriate” to provide a report of the incident or any other information.
But, Jackson Mahomes’ lawyer, Brandan Davies, told the newspaper, “Jackson has done nothing wrong.”
